Getting a business back up and running requires more than getting the website updated or your accounting software set up correctly.  It also requires a clean and sanitary place to create.  When I made the decision to close the business, items were packed away and my workroom became the “toss it in there” room.  I was doing so much and trying to keep up with appointments, that in a blink of an eye the room I made my creations in became this:

Here’s another peek into my workroom.  I know, you don’t have to say it.  It’s a disaster.  So, not only am I working on updating the web presence, reevaluating products and getting the accounting set up, I am also cleaning, rearranging, reorganizing and disinfecting my workroom (yes, that’s a Body By Jake machine back there.).

It’s turned into more work than I thought it would (you accumulate so much stuff in 10 years of operating a business!), but with every sweep and swipe, I know that it’s bringing me one step closer to getting back to my passion.  Making great aromatherapy products for you and your family.

The one good thing is all the sweeping, mopping and scrubbing is great exercise!
